• Job Responsibilities
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Work with computers, AC / DC drives, HMI’s and PLC’s
• Read and interpret Electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel
• Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis
• Comply with internal and corporate policies, procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety
• Respond to emergency situations as necessary
• Qualifications
• Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A
• Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma is a plus
• Must have knowledge of AC / DC Drives, Relay Logic, RS logix 500 and control logix Programming
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
• The position is subject to shift / weekend work and availability for on call in emergency
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work collaboratively
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)Note : This is a Safety Sensitive position#LI-DI1INDMED1
