Responsibilities :

  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance goals.
  • Create a positive and motivating work environment to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Drive store sales to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Implement effective sales strategies and promotions.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Operations & Inventory Management :

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and banking.
  • Manage inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's appearance and appeal.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, budgets, and financial statements.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Marketing & Community Engagement :

  • Develop and execute in-store events and promotions to drive traffic and sales.
  • Foster relationships with local community organizations and participate in community events.
  • Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote the store and its products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role, ideally in apparel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
