Logistics Ship & Rec Supervisor

Position Summary : The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the shipping receiving and warehouse functions to ensure the efficient accurate and timely movement of goods.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Supervise schedule and coordinate shipping receiving and warehouse personnel to meet operational goals.
• Oversee the loading unloading inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify accuracy of shipments bills of lading packing slips and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures customer requirements and transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• Work closely with production purchasing and customer service to support on-time deliveries.
• Select and coordinate with carriers freight forwarders and courier services.
• Train and mentor team members on proper material handling safety practices and company procedures.
• Investigate and resolve shipping / receiving discrepancies or damage claims.
• Enforce workplace health safety and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and maintain performance reports on shipping accuracy turnaround times and carrier performance.
• Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
