Salesforce Solution Architect
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect - B2B and Community to join their IT team.
The Salesforce Solution Architect partners with the senior stakeholders to shape the complex, enterprise level-architectural solutions that suite the end to end business needs and the needs of the future expansion. Salesforce Solution Architect leads a team of Salesforce Developers / Admins responsible for the development, integration and operational support of Client’s Salesforce CRM and associated integrated systems.
Salesforce Solution Architect Job Duties :
- Provide technical ownership of all strategic aspects of Client’s Salesforce CRM, driving digital transformation using the Salesforce platform.
- Work with external consulting firm and lead Client Salesforce developers to design & implement end to end architecture for Salesforce CRM, B2B Commerce, CPQ and Customer Community. Provide guidance on integration to ERP (SAP) system.
- Collaborate with business partners, at all levels, to build out the CRM strategy and roadmap in Client’s complex enterprise Salesforce environment, continually delivering business value, ensuring scalability of the solutions and improving the end-user experience.
- Review and provide guidance on design and architectural blueprints to the technical teams and walk-through solution options with business stakeholders using language familiar with customer while identifying potential risks or issues.
- Take ownership of high-risk or critical situations.
- Provide clear direction during the design phases for medium to large projects / programs, clarifying, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues. Review and provide input on detailed design specifications, infrastructure, data flow, and project plans.
- Establish, deliver and refine a road map to ensure that CRM platforms and products remain current, deliver value and supports the needs of business stakeholders in terms of scalability, resilience, security, capacity, and operational maintenance.

Pilot, design, develop, test and implement new CRM functionality with average to high complexity.
Build metrics to track the effectiveness of the new features.Conduct system integration between Salesforce, SAP and many Client’s business applications.Complete design / code reviews to help promote consistent quality coding practices and standards, as well as constructively improve secure coding.Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation. Ensure artifacts related to important support processes and system configuration are kept up to date. Documentation updates are required as part of any material change to the environment.Initiate and spearhead process improvement opportunities.Handle escalations for the following :Feature development to production.
Administration support of Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow.Tier-2 support to IT Support Staff.Provide occasional after-hours support, especially during system upgrades, quarter-end and year-end periods.Maintain and create engagement among team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.Lead weekly project status meetings and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support project deliverables.Exercise leadership skills to mentor, guide and train a diverse team of Salesforce developers and ensure on-time project delivery.Additional, related duties as assigned.Salesforce Solution Architect Mandatory Skills :
3+ years as a Senior SFDC Architect in a mid to large-sized organization (end client or consulting firm)with demonstrated leadership driving digital transformationExperienced with several full life-cycle Salesforce implementation, including Salesforce CRM, B2B Commerce, CPQ and Salesforce Community.5+ Salesforce Development experience (Apex and Visual Force)Experience on Salesforce Lightning is a must.Hands on experience in Apex classes, Asynchronous Apex, controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, SOQL and SOSL, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Apex Callouts, Unit test classes, Salesforce Security model, Lightning components, Einstein and Middleware Product.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or the equivalent number of years of experience.Experience with different deployment techniques as changesets, ants, and JenkinsHands-on experience with Salesforce Automation tools as Process Builder, Visual Flows, Approval Processes and changesetsCertifications - Administration, Advanced Admin, Service Cloud, Platform Developer I & II, App Builder, Application & System Domain Architect, Certified Technical ArchitectSalesforce Solution Architect Desired Skills :
Related working experience in key business functional areas such as ERP, CRM and SCM.Experience with HTML, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, and CSSExperience with UMLExperience developing customer-facing user interfacesSalesforce Solution Architect Assignment Length
