Ontario Tech University (University of Ontario Institute of Technology) in Oshawa, Ontario, is inviting applications for a tenure‑track faculty position in Computer Science, effective July 1, 2026.

Overview

Ontario Tech offers an interactive, technology‑enriched learning environment and a culture that values research, innovative teaching, and community engagement. The Faculty of Science, a non‑departmental unit, emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration across mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, and forensics.

Responsibilities

• Develop a successful and innovative externally funded research programme, assessed by peer‑reviewed publications, graduate student training, and academic‑industrial collaborations.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and explore pedagogical applications of technology in Computer Science education.
• Work under a 40% Research, 40% Teaching, 20% Service workload distribution each year.
