Shackleton Duke is currently working with a top Ontario home builder who is looking for experienced Superintendents to join their team.
Our client deals exclusively with Low Rise Residential construction.
The Superintendent will oversee work being executed on the project site. They are responsible to ensure the work is completed with respect to the established schedule while ensuring high quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage site meetings
- Ensure the execution of all site work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with site team to respond to all on-site requests
- Review sub-trade contracts
- Quantify and confirm required materials to be ordered
- Coordinate all on-site paperwork including plans, directives, and supplementary instructions
- Ensure daily work reports and work plans are current
- Ensure deficiencies are fixed and the highest level of quality control is maintained
Requirements
- Minimum of years of experience in the low-rise residential construction industry as a Superintendent
- Strong leaderships skills and experience managing a team
- Experience in delivering residential projects with a large amount of units
- Ability to demonstrate a solid track record of successfully completed projects
- Strong decision-making skills and shows good judgement
- Ability to quickly build strong relationships and resolve complex issues
- Possess a valid driver’s license
