Development Coordinator - Low Rise
Our Client is a 40yearold awardwinning developer / builder widely respected who has master plannedresidential
communities andcondominiums across the GTA. As they continue to grow they arelooking to add a Development
Coordinatorlow rise to their team reporting to the Vice PresidentLandDevelopment.
YourDay to Dayincludes :
Assist the VP in coordinating 10 plan of subdivision projectsthrough the land entitlement
process across York Region Durham & Peel through to SPA& building permits to handoverto
internal constructiondivision.
Research and providecritical planning analysis of development and servicingalternatives for
variousprojects
Work together with theDevelopment group and consulting teams to facilitate planningand
engineeringapprovals
Oversee thecoordination and preparation of land useapplications
engineering andservicing related permit applications including OBA ZBA minorvariances
Committee ofAdjustments and SPA.
Coordinateand attend meetings with municipalities agencies committees andCouncils as
required
Expedite timelyapprovals to facilitate site servicing to meet overall projecttimelines with
municipalitiesincluding reviewing comments and planningamendments.
Ensure completion ofall servicing matters to allow for building permitissuance
registration andassumption
WhatYouBring :
You have either an urban planning architecture or engineeringeducational background.
You bring24 years of plan of subdivision planning experience through variousstages of the
developmentprocess.
23 years of projectcoordination and liaison with citystaff.
You are a quick learnerwith a positive attitude to eagerly take on newchallenges
A thoroughunderstanding of varying Municipal planning approvalprocess
