Financial Planner

Financial Planner – Kawartha Credit Union

Location : Southeast Ontario (Hybrid work option available)

Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

Rate of Pay : Dependent on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide members with investment and financial planning advice.
• Consistently engage in the development and delivery of modular financial plans, using software and tools to support planning complexity.
• Provide members a review of their existing comprehensive financial plans.
• Promote, sell and deliver all investment products and services, including third‑party mutual funds.
• Provide effective portfolio management, consolidating investment assets. Monitor the renewal of maturing investments.
• Contribute toward organizational goals and the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goal objectives through the deployment of business and tactical planning.
• Work collaboratively with the branch network and Kawartha partners to help ensure members’ financial needs are met and member relationships are expanded.
• Travel in region as necessary to support wealth strategy.

Qualifications

A financial planner designation – Certified / Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Master Financial Planner (MFP), Chartered Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRCli>
