About the Opportunity
Our client in the downtown Ottawa area is looking for a fluently Bilingual Accounts Payables & Data Entry Specialist to join their fast-paced, growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- High volume, full-cycle accounts payables
- High volume data entry, adding invoices to appropriate accounts
- Matching, batching, coding of invoices, obtaining approvals from appropriate sources
- Coding of expenses, ensuring accuracy and verifying receipts
- Follow-up on outstanding invoices and expenses within the approval workflow
- Verifying information, preparing payments
- Bank account reconciliations
- Reconcile vendor statements to internal vendor accounts
- Posting journal entries
- Liaise with vendors as needed, answering inquiries while providing quality and professional direction
- Ensure vendor files are accurate and up to date
- Administrative support within the accounting department as needed
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages (English & French)
- 2+ years’ experience in Accounting within a high-volume environment
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
- Strong oral and written communication
