Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and management software. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure timely delivery, and uphold safety and quality standards across all phases of construction.
Duties
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop and implement quality control programs
- Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
- Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of the construction industry.Knowledge of project management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools.Strong skills in time management, organization, and multitasking to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics. Pay : From $52.43 per hour
