ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)
- Accounting diploma from Community College.
- 2 years accounting experience.
- OHRS (MIS) Certification and competency.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
- Experience with Crystal Report Writer.
- Knowledge of general ledger, patient accounting, material management and inventory processes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)
- Review and post all general ledger financial and statistical activity (including imports, accruals, prepaids, etc.).
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and prepare working papers for review.
- Reconcile staffing statistical accounts for accuracy.
- Ensure data is in compliance with OHRS Guidelines.
- Maintain Chart of Accounts and required interface tables from source systems to General ledger.
- Prepare physician payment requisitions and related reports.
- Participate in the external reporting system for both financials and statistics.
- Prepare year-end lead sheets for audit, and provide supporting backup for each account.
- Support capital asset budgeting and planning initiatives.
- Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Subledger.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
- Assist with departmental mail pickup and distribution.
