Role : Change Management Specialist

Location : Remote - Fredericton City, NB Canada ( Visit / Month)

Type : Years Contract with the possibility of years extension.

Roles and Responsibilities :

The Change Management Specialist will work across and within the established program governance and delivery work streams (, clinical, technical / solution, integration, ancillary services, and rd party solution vendors) to support and lead various activities as directed.

The following highlights the key responsibilities of the role :

  • Execute on and implement change management strategies, facilitating adoption of clinical processes and technologies.
  • Coordinate and organize stakeholder engagement initiatives, meetings, and events.
  • Act as liaison between different departments to ensure smooth collaboration and implementation of programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of change management policies and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical and administrative workflow engagement efforts.
  • Provide training and support to staff on engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with communications, education and training, and clinical standards teams to promote programs, initiatives, and engagement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Monitor sector trends and best practices to continually improve engagement strategies in a clinical setting.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding clinical and administrative engagement inquiries and concerns.

Mandatory requirements :

  • The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following combinations of education or certification and experience in the resource role :
  • University Degree Or
  • Community College Diploma Or
  • Special Experience Equivalency in relevant field.
  • years of work experience as part of transformation management office, change management team on large complex clinical information solution or digital health projects.
  • Years of demonstrated experience in a change management role. Must demonstrate experience managing complex changes specifically in a hospital or clinical program setting, involving multiple direct project stakeholders.

Experience must be from projects delivering change management strategies that were directly involved with enabling, ensuring adoption, and acceptance from health system users at the point of care.

Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Scored Requirements :

  • years of demonstrated experience in Change Management and in the development and effective execution of change management plans in a hospital setting (Clinical Information Solution / Electronic Health Record).
  • years of demonstrated experience in development and execution of training and communication plans in a hospital setting.
  • Years of demonstrated leadership experience guiding, motivating, and building team capacity for sustainable digital transformation.
  • Years of demonstrated experience in the development of various education and training tools and / or reference guides, to support the upcoming changes brought about by a new program / system / process and / or initiative.
  • Years of demonstrated ability establishing or supporting physician engagement plans to foster engagement and buy-in for digital transformations within a hospital setting with a diverse group of clinical stakeholders.
  • Years of demonstrated experience developing fit for purpose engagement strategies with a focus on clinical impact readiness assessment as it relates to health informatics support and adoption.
  • Competent level of knowledge with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Team), in the work environment.
  • Written and spoken competence in both English and French is considered an asset.
