Job Description

Please note this posting is not for the Summer / May Co-Op term . We are looking for someone to start immediately . Current students still looking for a Winter Co-Op and recent grads to be considered for a duration of at least 8 months preferably 12 months.

The position supports laboratory operations by performing routine tests maintaining equipment assisting with laboratory projects and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samples reagents and solutions for analysis according to standard procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and relevant standards.
• Accurately record and report test results in a timely manner.
• Receive samples record them in the database and ensure timely shipment to the relevant plant after assessments
• Follow all laboratory health and safety protocols and best practices and guidelines.
• Adhere to internal standards policies and procedures.
• Coordinate work to maintain efficiency and ensure timely completion of laboratory tasks.
• Coordinate with other technicians to complete tasks according to the planned schedule.
• Participate in team meetings training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support senior technicians and scientists in ongoing projects.
• Perform any reasonable tasks and contribute to projects as directed by the manager to support laboratory operations.
