Educational Assistant

Humboldt Collegiate Institute requires a Permanent Full-Time (0.92 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence on the first day of the 2025-2026 School Year.

Salary and benefits are per the current CUPE #4799 Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 5 hours and 41 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Duties:

• Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
• Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications:

• Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
• Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
