Health & Safety Trainer
OSG is a leading provider of training, consulting, and online services dedicated to enhancing workplace safety and wellbeing across Canada. We partner with businesses of all sizes to ensure compliance with safety regulations, reduce workplace incidents, and cultivate a culture of safety excellence.
This role is based in Cambridge, Toronto, Mississauga or surrounding areas. The schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional evening and Saturday work. Please apply to only one opening; we will consider you for all locations during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate in-person and online training courses to audiences across different industries, applying adult learning principles and best practices.
- Use industry knowledge and practical experience to answer participant questions with sensitivity, professionalism, and inclusivity.
- Ensure administrative requirements (timesheets, expenses, etc.) are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve content delivery.
Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred.1+ year experience in the Health and Safety industry, including active participation on a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) preferred.Certification in JHSC, First Aid, or Adult Education is an asset.Knowledge of legislation such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Canadian Standards Association, the Canada Labour Code, and other applicable Health and Safety regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service focus.Proficiency with Google Suite and strong tech‑savviness.Self‑starter who can work independently.Valid Ontario driver’s license with unrestricted access to operate a motor vehicle.Ability to travel across Southwestern Ontario, as needed to visit client sites.Home office space with reliable internet access.Clear criminal background check.Benefits Of Joining OSG
