PepsiCo Beverages Full Time Maintenance Millwright
The Maintenance Millwright contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by repairing and installing production equipment. This individual also inspects equipment for proper functioning, performs preventative maintenance duties and diagnoses equipment malfunctions for repairs and adjustments as needed. This skilled position is located at the Delta, BC facility.
Shifts :
- Graveyard or Weekends
- This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends
Pay Rate : $ + any applicable premiums listed below :
Night shift premium of $ (Graveyard Shift - 10pm to 6am)Class 4 Boiler Certificate - $1 / hour premiumAnnual tool allowance of $650Uniform allowance of $230 per yearWhat you can expect from us :

Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipmentRepair building systemChangeover production line equipmentUpgrade areas with new equipment / technology, working with outside contractorsInteract daily with computerized maintenance and parts programsPerform all assigned duties in a safe and productive mannerFollow the direction of Maintenance Leadhand, Supervisors and Department ManagersAble to work in a multi-department team environmentKeep work area orderly and cleanPhysical demands and working conditions :
You can lift / carry large loads up to 50-85 lbs and push / pull up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching and graspingQualifications
Hold a Red Seal Millwright CertificationHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) preferredMust be able to work graveyard shifts and overtime as requiredMust be a Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright or have completed an Industrial Mechanic Millwright ApprenticeshipKnowledge of machine control systems, safety control system and troubleshooting themWilling to contribute and dedicated to reducing our environmental footprintAble to work with machine shop tools and welders in a safe productive settingAbility to read and understand layout drawings and machine parts manualsAdditional skills you may have (assets, not required) :
Class 4 Power Engineer Certificate (PepsiCo will pay for training courses)Bottle and Can Line maintenance experience in the food / packaged goods industryAbout Us
