Our client, a well-established company in the management of non-residential building work and renovations, is looking for a Construction Project Estimator.
- Estimate costs of materials, labour and equipment based on bids, plans, and specifications;
- Review and analyze bids received, recommend acceptance, and negotiate contracts;
- Establish and maintain bid, control, and reporting systems and procedures;
- Prepare cost and expense statements and forecasts for projects;
- Maintain directories of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors;
- Collaborate with professionals (engineers, architects, contractors, etc.);
- Estimate the impact of changes and adjustments to cost estimates;
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor the progress of construction projects.
Requirements :
- DEC in Civil Engineering Technology with AEC Estimation in Construction / Renovation or equivalent combination;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project estimating for a general contractor;
- Knowledge of L'Estimateur Général software;
- French, English (technical documentation).
