Summary
The Selling Manager is a member of the Store Management team responsible for executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable store. This role drives sales performance by coaching the sales team, executing daily and weekly business objectives, and championing new selling tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support store management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
- Communicate sales and profit performance tools to the store team
- Deliver a consistent customer experience by handling complaints and resolving service issues
- Lead community outreach and support client development strategies
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build and develop the store team
- Provide coaching and feedback to drive talent development
- Support team training initiatives and maintain store execution and inventory control
- Promote use of new technologies to enable New Ways of Selling and More Ways to Shop
- Ensure sales floor and store standards consistently exceed expectations
Requirements
College degree or equivalent preferredRetail management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile environment preferredAbility to communicate effectively with customers and store personnelAbility to operate register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbsAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and possible overnight shifts and travelProven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationshipsBusiness acumen with strong planning prioritization and time management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
