Cybersecurity Leader responsible for defining, governing, and operationalizing the organization’s global cybersecurity strategy. The role provides strategic leadership, oversees security operations and SOC delivery, and ensures secure cloud platforms, strong cyber hygiene, and enterprise-wide risk reduction. The salary band is $110k to $140k. This is a hybrid work model located in the Greater Hamilton area.
Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance
- Develop, implement, and enforce global cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Drive adoption and maturity tracking of the NIST 2.0 Cybersecurity Framework.
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance across key domains (e.g., data protection, log retention, privileged access, incident response, compliance).
- Provide strategic cybersecurity leadership and advisory support to IT leadership.
Security Operations & Incident Management
Oversee a 24x7 global SOC delivered by a third-party provider.Manage and optimize security monitoring for a single Microsoft 365 tenant supporting multiple platforms.Lead major security incident response and conduct incident readiness exercises.Support enterprise IT initiatives from a cybersecurity perspective, including Azure and Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation.Ensure secure configuration, identity protection, and access controls across cloud platforms.Coordinate vulnerability management, patching, and cyber hygiene activities with internal teams and partners.Track, measure, and report improvements in security posture and risk reduction.Manage cybersecurity vendors and service providers to ensure alignment with security requirements.Lead global security awareness and training initiatives using platforms such as KnowBe4.Deliver role-based and targeted training programs to reduce human risk.Required Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles (e.g., Cybersecurity Analyst or equivalent).Proven experience developing and governing global cybersecurity policies, standards, and frameworks.Experience with SOC operations and SIEM technologies.Hands‑on experience supporting large-scale cloud initiatives from a security perspective.Strong background in vulnerability management, patch management, and cyber hygiene.Ability to define, monitor, and report cybersecurity metrics, risk posture, and continuous improvement.Proven experience delivering enterprise‑wide security awareness and role‑based training programs.Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Information Security.
