Our client in the West Island is currently looking for an executive assistant. The job involves working with general management to coordinate and check the quality of the various tasks required to organize activities.
The incumbent will also be responsible for following up on files or mandates under the authority of General Management.

Responsibilities
- Assists General Management in the development of various files and follows up with stakeholders policies, standards and procedures;
- Ensures the planning and administrative organization of the general management team;
Verifies the general management's administrative and decision-making files prior to presentation to decision-making bodies, and ensures that appropriate corrective action is taken where necessary. Ensures compliance
- deadlines;
- Receives, filters and forwards requests submitted to General Management. Identifies emergencies and priorities. Processes requests within his / her area of responsibility;
- Organizes and coordinates committees, meetings and gatherings on behalf of general management;
- Analyzes correspondence, ensures follow-up and exercises the necessary control with the concerned;
- Makes diary management arrangements for the General Manager and the Mayor;
- Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment;
Performs all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Qualifications and requirements :
A college diploma (DEC) in secretarial studies or equivalent;
Two (2) years' experience in a job that allows familiarization with the nature of the
- nature of the job;
- Knowledge of the municipal environment (an asset);
- Knowledge of business correspondence;
Fluency in written and spoken French and English (City with bilingual status).
Skills :
- Demonstrate initiative, organization, responsibility and judgment;
- Analyze and find solutions to urgent and / or conflict situations;
Maintain and follow up on deadlines; analyze and synthesize facts; write clear, concise texts; tactful interpersonal relations.
