THE ROLE
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Certified Industrial Electrician will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical systems in a progressive environment open to change and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems.
- Diagnose the root cause of issues for machinery, systems and processes
- Test machinery / equipment to ensure proper implementation and functions
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics.
- Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff.
- Replace or repair faulty wiring and electrical components.
- Program and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
- Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 442A preferred Electrician License required
- 5-10 years experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be a strong asset
