Job description

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Certified Industrial Electrician will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical systems in a progressive environment open to change and innovation.

Sunday shift 8 : 30 pm to 7 am
Monday to Thursday 12 am to 7 am

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems.

Diagnose the root cause of issues for machinery, systems and processes

Test machinery / equipment to ensure proper implementation and functions

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics.

Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff.

Replace or repair faulty wiring and electrical components.

Program and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.

Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance.

REQUIREMENTS :

442A preferred Electrician License required

5-10 years experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be a strong asset
