Currently seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a roofing / building product supply company in Vaughan / Concord.

The major intersection is Keele and Langstaff.

Duties :

• Load / unload / move materials in warehouse / yard
• Possible lifting of materials (Must be able to lift up to 50lbs)
• Use Counterbalance to unload / load materials (Valid Counterbalance Forklift License is required)
• Maintain inventory in appropriate / designated storage areas in warehouse
• Verify orders and shipments
• General warehouse / yard maintenance and cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications :

• At least 2-3 years of work experience operating the forklift
• Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions, written, oral or diagrams
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos Ability to work 40-50hrs, schedules may vary (must be flexible), can start either 7 : 00am, or 7 : 30am.
• Must have steel toed shoes
• All candidates must have their 4 Steps to Health Safety and Awareness ()
