Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Administrator at a prominent Non-Profit company. If you are a motivated problem solver and passionate about establishing and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, you could succeed in this role. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This permanent position is a great opportunity for a Network Administrator who wants to work in the Aurora, Ontario, region.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems
  • Distributing LAN / WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures
  • Managing the operation of all local area networks and services related to wide area networks, following company policies and procedures
  • Upgrading network software and hardware

Job Requirements :

  • Proven knowledge of routers
  • Switch Routers experience
  • Knowledge of VMware
  • Earlier work involving Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of networks
  • Practical knowledge of Active Directory
  • General familiarity with Cisco Firewall
  • Foundational knowledge in routers
  • Wide ranging experience with Network Troubleshooting
  • Well-founded grasp of Router Switches
  • Deep understanding of Dell Switches
  • Quality experience with Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN / WAN operations
  • Previous experience in production environments and being on-call
  • Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues
  • 3+ years relevant experience
