We are looking for an Education Delivery Manager (Psychiatric Nursing Program) to join our team.This position is integral to the RDPN program, focusing on supporting teaching assistants and online instructional faculty in implementing innovative teaching and learning methodologies within the didactic learning environment.
The role ensures effective curriculum development, online education delivery, and student success through audits, evaluations, and the integration of evidence-based research into the curriculum.
Working closely with the Program Director, the incumbent maintains quality assurance, promotes interactive learning, and fosters student engagement, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities : Faculty Recruitment and Orientation : Collaborate with the Program Director to orient new online instructional faculty on course delivery, instructional design, and student success strategies.
Curriculum Management : Review and provide feedback on curriculum development, ensure faculty have the necessary resources, and oversee curriculum quality and updates.
Program Delivery : Stay informed on effective teaching practices, support faculty with resources, collect and share feedback, and promote student engagement in quality assurance surveys.
Learning Technologies and Innovation : Lead efforts to adopt new teaching methodologies and technologies, provide training for faculty, and continuously improve online learning platforms.
Faculty and Administrative Management : Manage faculty schedules, evaluate teaching needs, conduct performance reviews, ensure policy compliance, and foster continuous learning among faculty.
Student Success : Monitor student performance, oversee remedial plans, and act as an educational consultant for student services.
Education Quality Assurance : Promote feedback, stay updated on teaching practices, participate in policy revisions, and ensure alignment between theory, practice, and quality measures.
Qualifications : Registered Psychiatric Nursing (RPN), with current (and in good standing) practicing status with BCCNM is preferred OR candidates with extensive experience in online instructional design and management may be considered.
A master's degree in education, nursing, or psychiatric Nursing is preferred; non-nursing candidates must have a Master of Education (in Adult Education, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instructional Design, or Learning Design and Technology).
Proven experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, and / or teaching methodologies is preferred.Strong knowledge of innovative educational technologies and their application in the online classroom is an asset.
