As a damage insurance broker in the customer service department, you will work in a comfortable call center environment. You understand the importance of being a customer's first point of contact when needed.

You pride yourself on knowing how and when to provide help, solutions and sales in order to deliver an incredible experience and even change someone's day.

Our client is a firm in the field of damage insurance brokerage, both for individuals and businesses. In full expansion, it needs insurance professionals like you to join a stimulating team in a magnificent office full of activities located in Montreal, downtown.

What we offer

• Permanent employment
• A competitive base salary varying between $63 to $80,000 / year, to be discussed depending on experience
• A bonus program of $6,000 to $8,000 per year + annual bonus up to $5,000

• Daytime schedule only. No evenings or weekends!!!
• Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Typical schedule Monday to Friday from 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. or 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

What you bring

• You are recognized for your negotiation and persuasion skills, to negotiate with different insurers
• You enjoy providing excellent customer service and making new sales (with the generous commissions that come with them!)
• You have ease in expressing yourself and communicating
• You are customer-oriented and action-oriented
• A sense of solution, support, escalation and upselling
• Carry out modifications, pricing, loyalty and solicitation during incoming calls;
• Work on renewals and carry out updates by professionally advising policyholders;
• Shop for quotes from our different insurers.
• Respond to calls from policyholders with questions regarding their file.
• You are responsible for a module of 500 to 1000 customers

Who are you ?

• You have an AMF certificate (required)
• You have at least 1 year of experience as a damage insurance broker
• Energetic and compassionate, you have good communication skills and know how to put people at ease
• You have superior problem-solving skills and can identify the right solution for the right situation
• You have a reliable home internet connection to ensure your voice is heard
• Bilingualism (French / English) required
• You have computer skills to navigate several software programs, all on 2 screens
