Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Manager to lead a Talent Acquisition team based in Edmonton. This role is perfect for a seasoned recruitment leader looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
Some of what you will do in this role includes :
- Strategic Development : Collaborate with senior leaders and HR to create a Talent Acquisition Strategic Roadmap, driving the recruitment strategy, programs, and partnerships.
- Consultation & Market Intelligence : Advise managers on best recruitment practices and gather industry insights to develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Employer Branding : Work with the Communications & Marketing team to position the company as an employer of choice and design and execute a compelling branding strategy.
- Trend Awareness : Stay updated on the latest trends, innovative sourcing strategies, and recruiting techniques to attract top global talent.
- Process Improvement : Manage and enhance existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to improve candidate quality and reduce time-to-hire.
- Metrics & Analysis : Measure and improve key metrics such as time-to-fill, internal talent mobility, and quality of hire.
Use strong analytical skills to audit processes, assess trends, and create insightful reports.
- Diversity & Inclusion : Partner with internal and external organizations to increase the diversity of the candidate pool and support the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal marketing teams to develop effective communication strategies, as well as with talent recruitment partners, both internal and external.
You should have most of these in your background to apply :
- 8+ years in full-life cycle Corporate Recruitment / Talent Acquisition in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in creating effective candidate experiences.
- Excellent team leadership of recruitment professionals, both locally and remotely.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Experience in a large corporate environment.
- Current understanding of talent acquisition best practices, emerging issues, and relevant legislation.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining KPIs and workforce metrics.
- Demonstrated experience using key social recruiting platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Ability to navigate large organizations, identify stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with marketing teams. Creative problem-solving skills to address recruiting challenges.
