Machine Set Up Operator

Randstad has a great opportunity for you! A steel company in the Hamilton area is looking for someone who can work day shift, is reliable, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities :

• Set up, modify, and program machinery
• CNC Machine operation
• Perform preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required
• Communicate effectively any malfunctions or abnormalities with the equipment to maintenance technician.

Qualifications

What we are looking for?

• Minimum 2 years experience with CNC Machining
• Must be able to set up, modify, and program
• Experience with systems like AutoCAD and Solidworks is an asset
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to read measuring gauges (tape measure, micrometer, square etc.)
