Overview

As the Lead Full-Stack Developer, you will contribute to Laura’s success by driving the development and integration of modern, scalable and user-friendly digital experiences. You will play a key role in building and optimizing web applications, storefronts, and custom features using React, Jinja, HTML / CSS with Tailwind, and Liquid for Shopify .

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of responsive, performant, and accessible frontend interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain applications using React.js and reusable component libraries.
  • Integrate backend services and templates using Jinja and other server-side rendering tools.
  • Customize and extend Shopify storefronts using the Liquid templating language .
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS .
  • Collaborate with Designers, Developers, and Product Managers to align technical execution with business goals.
  • Mentor junior developers and uphold coding best practices, performance optimization, and clean architecture

Qualifications

  • College or bachelor’s degree in Programming, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience with templating engines : Jinja (Python-based) and Liquid (Shopify)
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS , and responsive design methodologies
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms, especially Shopify and headless CMS integrations, being an asset.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks and APIs for full-stack integration
  • Strong understanding of Bitbucket workflows , CI / CD pipelines, and modern development practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
  • Leadership qualities : ability to guide teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
