Manufacturing Associate (Swing Shift)

Overview

Manufacturing Associate (Swing Shift) at MegaFood. Swing Shift 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm (Mon-Fri) with some weekends.

This role is not available for sponsorship including I-983 participation.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform tasks that support the various business needs in manufacturing (coating, Roller Compaction, blending, milling, pressing and cleaning of various manufacturing equipment), as well as weekly majors.
• Identify and inspect materials for weighing / use; verify correct materials and lots per Work Order.
• Weigh and blend all material needed, check materials and weights; complete paperwork and use electronic batching system.
• Operate equipment to move materials (pallet jack, powered jack, carts).
• Dispense powder mixtures into proper containers per Work Order.
• Operate equipment in the manufacturing department : Blender, Mill, Tablet Coater, Granulator, Oven.
• Promote and maintain a harmonious / productive team effort; contribute to department goals; assist as needed across departments.
• Perform daily math for computing measurements / unit conversions; use calculator to verify results.
• Read and write numbers accurate from work orders, labels and product lot numbers.
• Read / understand English; stand for long periods; attend as required.
• Report to work daily to comply with attendance policy; work overtime to meet customer and production goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range : $40,000.00 - $66,000.00. Actual compensation will consider location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. Base pay is one component of total rewards, which may include a performance bonus, medical / dental / vision, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
