Our Client, a Leading First Nation-Owned Environmental Services Firm, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager. You'll work alongside a talented multidisciplinary team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality environmental solutions for diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Management Leadership : Lead and coordinate teams for complex environmental projects, ensuring successful completion from initiation to finalization.
2. Technical Expertise & Client Support : Provide expert advice and develop strategies on environmental and regulatory issues to support diverse client needs.
3. Project Deliverables & Regulatory Navigation : Oversee the preparation and review of project documents, including proposals, reports, permits, and environmental assessments, ensuring adherence to regulations.
4. Business Development & Relationship Building : Establish and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to business development opportunities, and liaise with stakeholders (First Nations, government, regulators).
5. Team Mentorship & Supervision : Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to support professional development within the team.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing and planning environmental projects.
- Strong understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in time management and ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in avian and / or ungulate ecology and supervisory roles.
