This resource will have working knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure environments including general concepts of workstation / server hardware, and a general understanding of line‑of‑business applications and architectures. The resource must have a sound understanding of IT Change and Communication Management. A proven ability to function on an individual basis and in a team environment is essential. Resources awareness of existing GoA and department IT policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and practices is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver services.
• Work with delivery teams and stakeholders, including business partners and GoA technical staff to understand detailed requirements of transfers, which could include : planning of timing; process confirmation; communication and coordination of script executions; etc.
• Participate in creating and prioritizing a backlog of work, estimate effort, and commit to scope of work for predictable completion of content transfers.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support all aspects of the content transfer service.
• Guide business partners on technical aspects of ECM solutions and shared drives relating to requested transfers.
• Create and generate scripting, workflows, documents, logging, etc. to support content transfers.
• Migrate content which may include : mapping, transformation, loading, and testing of scripting or supporting application runs.
• Copy files in a secured way and confirm file integrity.
• Other responsibilities as required or requested.
