Are you passionate about supporting the growth and development of young children in a culturally rich environment? Squamish Nation Ayás Mén̓men Early Years and Youth Services Department is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to provide loving, culturally enriched care and early learning experiences. What You’ll Do
- Provide attentive, compassionate care to infants and toddlers in our daycare program.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage intellectual, physical, and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with the Daycare Team Lead to develop individualized care plans with a focus on Squamish Nation cultural teachings.
- Maintain open, positive communication with parents and team members.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.
What We’re Looking For
A combination of education and experience in Early Childhood Educator Certificate from a recognized institution (current ECE License to Practice or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe).Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education, Squamish language, and cultural teachings.Patient, compassionate, and emotionally intelligent.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Cultural awareness and deep respect for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw values, language, and traditions.Organized, resourceful, and able to manage time effectively.Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude.Why Work With Us

Salary : $ 54,000 - $75,500
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. Weare committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
