Job purpose

Responsible for screening CMMS work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned work orders to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program.

Duties and Responsibilities

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows :

  • Review, analyze, plan, forecast, and purchase spare parts and accessories required to support maintenance activities related to PM’s and internal work Orders.
  • Keep the CMMS inventory stock count updated and make sure the technicians using the parts are updated in FIIX, for dedicated locations.
  • Order and keep an inventory of tools, supplies and parts needed for various types of equipment.
  • Review, analyze, plan, forecast, and purchase parts, accessories, and stands to support our customer orders.
  • Generate weekly and monthly demand forecasts and provide the information to Group and other manufacturers / suppliers to ensure an adequate pipeline of material is available to support the business.
  • Purchase spare parts and accessories from Group, manufacturers, and authorized vendors.
  • Monitor, track, and expedite purchase orders to meet our requirements.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments, review / authorize freight methods, monitor shipments, customs clearance, and receipt.
  • Control and monitor all parts stocked and received at dedicated locations.
  • Assist and supervise the annual Physical Inventory count for spare parts and accessories.
  • Create / maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Participate in weekly & monthly meetings.
  • Cycle Counting
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Degree required in a technical field and 1 - 3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and / or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Electrical / mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Project management and capital project experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
