Overview : Pillway Pharmacy is in search of a dedicated and innovative Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Delta, BC. This role is designed for a passionate individual who aims to redefine and elevate the patient experience within the pharmacy sector. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in facilitating a welcoming onboarding process, guiding patients through their prescription transfer, and ensuring all interactions are informative, empathetic, and aligned with our commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications

Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer inquiries

Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies

Process prescriptions using pharmacy software

Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

Support the pharmacist in administrative tasks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Perform cashier duties and handle transactions accurately

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Assistant diploma or certification is an asset

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficiency with Kroll

Minimum 3 years experience

Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations is a plus
