Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management and organization of retail shop fit‑outs, including new construction, refits, refreshes, closures, and ongoing store maintenance.
- Manage Capex budgets, produce estimates, verify project actuals, and update forecast.
- Plan and execute project schedules, collaborating with Retailers, SSP, Real Estate leasing, and finance.
- Apply industry best practices for global retail construction and project support, ensuring alignment of working practices.
- Develop and maintain project status and Capex reports.
- Interpret construction information related to business operations and provide hands‑on assistance during openings, refits, refreshes, and closures.
- Continuously improve retail support by assessing needs and providing forward‑looking insight.
- Streamline reporting processes for internal and external users.
- Assist Retailers, retail store teams, Shop and Space Planning Team, Property/Leasing, and Finance with project‑specific tasks.
- Apply product, design, and merchandising knowledge to support sales and customer service excellence.
- Partner with SSP designers to deliver inspirational projects.
- Deliver outstanding customer service experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail construction and project management with strong budget management experience in the US.
- Proven project lead role experience.
- Knowledge of carpentry and millwork is an asset.
- Skilled in budget analysis and management.
- Experience with phased construction in new and existing retail stores.
- Hands‑on experience managing design and construction processes.
- Ability to build and leverage relationships with business partners to achieve outcomes.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
- Appreciation of retail design and in‑house skill sets.
- Capacity to assist with installation of company furniture.
- Ability to interpret mechanical‑electrical‑plumbing, architectural, and structural plans.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Works calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Available for extra hours as needed.
- Works independently in a collaborative creative environment.
- Team player who collaborates with designers to ensure detailed, efficient, and successful project execution.

- Must be based in the United States and able to travel domestically and internationally with a valid passport.
Preferred
- Knowledge or experience with Concur, CAD, and Google Suite.
- PMP and LEED certifications are an asset.
Job Details
Job Type: Full‑time Permanent role.
Job Location: Open to candidates located within Canada only.
Travel Requirement: Remote role with frequent travel (1‑2 trips per month) across North America, possibly global.
Salary Range: $90,000 CAD – $95,000 CAD (base salary; excludes bonus and total rewards).
