ATPI Sports Events Canada is looking for motivated, driven, and talented bilingua l Individuals & Groups Travel Consultants to join our team and help manage the Games and Events Travel for the Canadian Olympic Team and other Sports clients in Canada.

This full-time position will be based in Montreal on a hybrid schedule.

ATPI Corporate & Sports Events Canada has signed a long-term partnership agreement with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), the Canadian Paralympic Committee and other key accounts.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Prepare and execute individual and group travel booking quotations and / or order confirmations as per briefing of the Client and their key sports-related stakeholders
  • Advise key stakeholders on their group travel requirements
  • Handle reservations, amendments, alterations, and cancellations of individual and / or group travel bookings
  • Check and validate travel files / reservations on a daily basis
  • Produce and arrange dispatch of delegate packs and other information
  • On-site project management and full end-to-end delivery
  • Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of budgets, throughout the lifecycle of each event
  • Actively collect knowledge about travel and travel-related products
  • Deliver group travel management reports as agreed upon with the client
  • Assist in the reconciliation of all client travel including Olympic Games group travel
  • Deliver 100% quality and accuracy in line with both client and company process
  • Approve all client invoices prior to dispatch
  • Present full understanding of client requirements and templates
  • Proactively escalate delivery issues through notification of management to ensure continuous improvement of meeting processes, procedures, and tools
  • Understand, apply, and promote the company’s values at all times
  • Reports directly to the Travel Desk team lead and Operations Manager of ATPI Canada

The successful candidate would ideally have :

  • At least two years of Individual and group travel consultant experience
  • Bilingual in French and English is a must
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of domestic, trans-border, and international travel destinations
  • Full working knowledge of fares and rules
  • Working knowledge of industry ticket handling procedures
  • Experience with Amadeus and / or other GDS systems
  • Experience with corporate flight, car and hotel bookings
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
  • Experience with and knowledge of MS Office
  • Passionate about travel industry
  • Desire and ability to travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid OPC Travel counsellor certificate is a must
  • Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with various internal and external colleagues / stakeholders
