Good morning, My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions. I am looking for an accounting technician for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent face-to-face position in Candiac.Reporting to the controller, the accounting technician and responsible for accounts payable :

• On a monthly basis
• Responsible for the end of month process for two of the Group's four entities, including : bank reconciliation, recurring entries, balance sheet revaluation and exchange rate
• Carry out the necessary controls related to the production of financial statements, such as balancing the GL and auxiliaries, monitoring balance sheet schedules, closing accounting periods, updating exchange rates to the system.
• On a weekly basis
• Management of payables email boxes and collaboration in entering invoices
• Collaborates closely with the payables process to maximize cash discounts
• Carry out invoicing of customer orders and collections
• Collaborates to optimize the purchasing cycle in terms of internal controls and data integrity, robust, documented and efficient processes
• Quarterly reconciliation of intra-group, GST QST remittances including customs as well as installment payments
• Collaborates on special projects and contributes to the culture of continuous improvementConnaissances et expérience requises
• Diplôme en Technique comptable, ou l'équivalent;
• Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans une PME manufacturière et à haut volume transactionnel Compétences et habiletés requises
• Personne autonome, structurée et possédant un bon sens des affaires;
• Bon jugement, discrétion, rigueur et habiletés de communication;
• À l'aise avec les systèmes de gestion informatisés; Excel avancé
