Qualification : Basic

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 6 years of work experience including HR domain with Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of relevant experience with Masters.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian HR laws and regulations
  • Work experience in a high / fast-paced organization with constantly evolving priorities. Also experience working for global / multinational matrixed organization is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Work with a high sense of urgency and efficiency with a top-level customer-focused approach

Location for this position is in Calgary, Alberta. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to this area.

Preferred :

  • HR domain knowledge of specific areas such as Compensation and Benefits, Organization Development.
  • Coaching and Mentoring skills for team building, client facing skills.
  • Crisis handling tasks
  • Experience working with goal-oriented metrics and KPI’s
  • Facilitate timely flow of information for analytics and reporting for different HR processes.
  • Assist in manage and review the following HR operations, Performance management framework
  • Manage and support the following aspects Employee Assimilation, Hiring and Deployment, Performance Management.
  • Execute unit specific performance management framework
  • Monitor the employee governance process and adherence to code of conduct
  • Manage all aspects of reporting, analytics and metrics as required.
  • French language proficiency is an asset but not mandatory

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
