Junior Accountant

Overview

Are you a recent graduate with coop experience or an early‑career professional eager to build your accounting career with a growing Canadian company? Hillberg & Berk , a proudly Canadian‑owned jewelry brand, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our passionate team! In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly — from processing daily transactions to supporting month‑end reporting. You’ll work closely with and learn from experienced finance professionals while developing your skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

• Embody and champion the Hillberg & Berk culture, living our values and creating positive experiences for both teammates and clients.
• Process accounts payable and receivable — including vendor invoices, employee expenses, credit card transactions, deposits, and bank receipts across multiple sales channels.
• Post and reconcile inventory receipts and prepaid inventory.
• Support month‑end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
• Record and reconcile retail cash deposits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage vendor payment schedules.
• Assist the Finance team with financial reporting and ad‑hoc analysis for internal stakeholders.
