Nadia's Hope Foundation is a reputable nonprofit organization, our mission is to create a safe and supportive community that promotes healing and growth for survivors of domestic abuse.

Through education, advocacy, and outreach, we aim to increase awareness about the impact of domestic abuse on individuals, families, communities, and work towards preventing and ending all forms of domestic abuse.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as President of Nadia's Hope Foundation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations, and driving the organization's mission and goals forward.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to advance the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term strategic plans and goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of organizational operations, including financial management, human resources, program development, and administration.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, volunteers, staff, and the community.
  • Lead fundraising efforts and develop strategies to secure financial support for the organization's programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, representing its mission, values, and accomplishments to internal and external audiences.
  • Advocate for relevant policy changes and social justice issues that align with the organization's mission and values.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications Requirements :

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including experience with policy and program development, stakeholder engagement, etc.
  • Leadership or senior management experience
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills, with a track record of successfully implementing initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder or community engagement and facilitation (or the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders)
  • Passion for organizations mission and a commitment to social justice and community development

Assets :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration, social sciences) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of or experience with applicable legislation, regulations, and best practices pertaining to nonprofit governance and management.
  • Community involvement or experience in diversity and inclusion engagement programs or initiatives.
