About the role

If you are ready for a great challenge and have the desire to transform an organisation into IaC and Self-Service, then this opportunity is for you!

Our service is transforming, and we need someone that will be able to step up and guide the team in a transition to DevOps moving from traditional support model to self-service and expertise service provider.

We are seeking for a Senior DevOps that will bring the glue between Service Now and backend scripts and systems.

More precisely, we want all service provided by the team such as disk increase, backup restore, DNS entry, VM provisioning and many more to be automated and made available to clients as a self-service through ServiceNow.

Along with self-service transformation, we expect this person will be key player in IaC / SDDC integration in Hybrid cloud / on-prem environment.

More precisely, our organisation is transitioning to engage in a cloud Smart strategy and various workloads will be coexisting and transitioning among Public Cloud, Private Cloud and On-Prem.

Therefore, we need to make that capability as seamless as possible to our clients by developing SDDC that will make On-prem Infra available and interconnected with Public Cloud.

We need someone who will :

• Have good knowledge of ServiceNow development tools, workflow designer, integration hub and API.
• Have good knowledge of Github and Github Action.
• Have good knowledge of scripting in various languages such as Powershell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Have good knowledge of Cloud automation mainly with VMware VCF
• Must be a teamplayer and love sharing his knowledge.
• Infrastructure management background is an asset.

What you'll put to good use :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Works in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
