JOB SUMMARY :
The Food Expediter and Runners are the liaison between the culinary and service teams to ensure dishes are executed correctly, on time and delivered to guests with perfection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Carry and deliver food to the guest in a prompt and professional manner
- Communicate well with the Chef and other staff members during busy stressful times
- Able to multitask and have an eye for detail
- Ensure plating is clean and tidy before leaving the kitchen
- Transfer important information, such as special requests, between service staff and the kitchen
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Required Experience and Qualifications :
- A team player who works well under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a fine dining environment is an asset
- A strong work ethic and commitment to a premium level of quality and customer service
- Must have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, CIS or a valid work permit
- Able to work evenings and weekends as required
