Job Summary :

If leading the AI product strategy and roadmap for a best-in-class platform at a mission driven Edtech SaaS organization that is changing the way the world learns sounds exciting, this role is for you!

The AI Product Strategy Director is a senior leader acting as an individual contributor, reporting to the VP Product Strategy.

How will I make an impact?

  • Grow the market share for D2L products by driving the rethink of how AI can benefit Higher Ed, K12 and Corporate customers
  • Direct the AI product strategy and roadmap definition that is focused on achieving business results, partnering with Corporate Strategy, Sales and Marketing
  • Articulate and cascade the benefits of new features and the future direction of the platform to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Build market awareness and excitement of D2L’s AI work with thought leaders, industry analysts, and future customers
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Services, Support, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute GTM plans
  • Collaborate closely with other AI product managers, engineering and design to launch innovative and value-generating products and features frequently, test their performance, and iterate quickly
  • Advise and seek input from key stakeholders across all phases of the product life cycle
  • Collaborate with D2L Services to define services offerings that increase the value of AI to customers
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with industry leading vendors and system implementers to augment the product offering
  • Define, monitor, measure, analyze and report regularly on key business and customer metrics and usage funnels.

Suggested Qualifications / Experience :

  • Success in growing the market share with B2B SaaS products, and improving product impact velocity
  • Minimum 7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS products across hundreds of customers and 100K+ users
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS industry, at least 3 years in AI products
  • Experience with learning management or edtech products is a big plus
  • P&L ownership experience for SaaS B2B products is a big plus
  • Degree or Diploma in computer science, engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent work experience

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience.

It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry.

As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range$132,500 $201,600 USD
