Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributingto the various stages of Electrical discipline. We are currently seeking anElectrical Engineering Technician to join our Corporate Electrical &Automation team to support our expansion in Ontario.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic growing team in ourConcord office. Your role will be to participate in the day-to-day delivery ofengineering services, from testing high voltages to making sure projects arecompleted on schedule.

You will be responsible for delivering high-qualityprofessional services and maintaining good working relationships with clientsand co-workers.

With us you’ll get the opportunity to :

• Assist in high voltage testing such as withstand test, partial discharge testing, and other applicable testing on medium to low voltage electrical apparatus
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary
• Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer
• Identify issues & problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required
• Ensure that project assignments are completed on schedule and within budget and in an economical manner
• Identify, recommend, and implement new technologies and systems to enhance engineering deliverables
• Willing to travel outside the province for extended period
• Perform other duties as assigned

Overview of certifications and job requirements :

• Have experience with design of substations or power plants
• Strong willingness to learn hands-on work for electrical testing on site
• Willingness to work in laboratory ad field environment
• Experience with MS office and Acrobat Reader
• Diploma in Electrical / Electromechanical
• Valid G driver's license
• 1+ years of experience is design / testing
