Compensation : $30 – $35 / hour (full-time / permanent)

Carpenter (Multi-Skilled Tradesperson)

Carpenters at On Side rebuild and restore damaged personal property anywhere and anytime a disaster strikes. With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state Multi-Skilled Tradespeople use the skills of carpenters, drywallers, painters and magicians! Making clients believe magic has happened is all part of a day for a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson. Looking for someone that can go into a home and fix all the damages from zero to hero!

Responsible for…

The multi-talented Carpenter is skilled in the following ways :

• Drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping and finishing
• Brush and roller painting (could include walls, ceilings, trim)
• Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing
• Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim
• Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware
• Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
• Insulation and vapour barrier installation
• Cabinetry (removal, repair, reinstallation)
• Framing

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24 / 7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.
