Reporting to the Regional Go-To-Market Manager, the role of the Senior Analyst Go-To-Market is to help optimize pricing and promotional tactics & strategies to drive incremental sales and profit through the use and analysis of large sets of data and scenario modelling.
Critical to our growth, the Senior Analyst will support the Sales team and cross-functional teams in creating strong pricing and promo recommendations for the business to execute on.
Key Responsibility
- Provide analysis and recommendation for regional pricing tactics & strategies that follows within national guidelines to help deliver on EBIT goal.
- Use of elasticities to help assess price changes to volume and margin.
- Ensure flawless pricing submissions with the respective customer / board.
- Build and maintain event library of all promotion assessing volume impact and profit ROI.
- Support Regional Go-To-Market manager and Strategic Account Manager (SAM) in optimizing promotion spend leveraging insight from promo ROI.
- Track and measure specific initiatives to ensure proper financial success (Pilot, Contract counterparts, project, display, etc.
- Provide support and analytic in the monthly business review routine, providing actionable insight of what's happening within the market from an internal and competition standpoint.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics.
- Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Measure success and KPI of innovation launch from internal and competition standpoint.
- Work with the Business intelligence team to generate and maintain dashboards and scorecards to assess actuals for channel leads & cross-functional team to drive the business.
- Leverage and train team on usage of tools.
- Timely delivery of tools, KPI reports and data.
- Maintain channel specific promotional tool / grids.
- Ad hoc involvement in Price & Promo projects.
Qualifications / Experience / Education
- University Degree
- 3 years in a similar role with preference to candidates with Consumer-Packaged Goods experience
- Financial planning and analysis
- Pricing / Promo Strategies
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong Excel skills, experience with Power BI, Canadian grocers data platforms (IRI, dunnhumby & LDIA), SQL and Nielsen Data an asset
- Excel and Power BI Power User
- Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms : Nielsen, Dunnhumby, IRI, Precima

Compensation : Budgeted Range ($75,537.00- $97,754.00) The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
