Responsibilities
- Provide guidance during the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
- Conduct quality review of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
- Working closely with IT stakeholders, assist in the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
- Conduct review and assessment of existing IT contracts (goods & services) and provide recommendations as appropriate.
- Consult, analyze and evaluate existing IT contracts, and document contractual requirements for net contracts and renewals
- Identify contract lifecycle, including schedule, renewal, expirations
- Develop (and track) contract (procurement) status
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders
- Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Meet schedules and time lines
- Be a flexible, resourceful and creative problem solver
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized degree or diploma in an IT related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
- Minimum 10 (ten) years of Information Technology industry experience
- Minimum 5 (five) years of experience developing and managing technology contracts (goods and services)
- Minimum 5 (five) years experience writing procurement and contract artefacts for technology goods and services.
- Minimum 3 (three) years experience as an IT operations manager.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyze complex contract requirements
- Strong attention to detail
