Senior Java Developer – Test Automation

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer – Test Automation for our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Carry out analysis of systems and programming requirements to identify problems and provide proposed solutions including program specifications.
- Develop system specifications, code, modify, test and debug computer programs under general supervision, according to planning and deadlines.
- Master the technical and business functionalities of the system in order to explain them to other colleagues, while interacting effectively with users.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications / software components.
- Organize and manage production sessions.
- Design and model programmatic solutions to complex problems to enable the realization of documented functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review design as part of deliverables (code and design quality).
- Develop and support complex components.
- Support and guide the project team in development activities to ensure the quality of delivered code while meeting project deadlines.
- Write unit and integration tests for each function in which development is required.
- Participate in the implementation of regression testing strategies to improve the stability of application components.
- Provide support and maintenance (level 1) for the application and resolve complex anomalies.
- Work independently.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development and automated testing.Experience in a large company.Management of multiple, complex projects.Experience with Cucumber.Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.Experience in Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI / CD) (an asset).Ability to analyze and synthesize.Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work as part of a team and attention to detail.
No Canadian work experience required; must be eligible to work in Canada.Bilingualism. Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.Benefits
