The Position

The Software Technical Lead will partner with the Software Architect and other members of the Development Team on new feature and module development projects, lead the design of assigned work, and provide peer review.

The Software Technical Lead will work on all aspects of the software development life cycle, including Quality Assurance. At Eclipse we use Agile Development methodology to manage shifting priorities and ensure the delivery of high‑quality software. The Software Technical Lead will lead a collaborative Agile team of Software Developers, designing, building, and deploying solutions to optimize our business and grow our revenue.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the Software Architect to determine functional and non‑functional requirements for new software, applications, and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Software Developers.
• Take responsibility for your team’s technical health : architecture, best practices, reliability, security, etc.
• Improve developer and user experience through thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with scrum master, product owners, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver high‑quality a product to our Eclipse internal customers.
• Promote positive relations between departments and business units globally.
• Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations which support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Continuously resource new innovative solutions for corporate competitiveness.
